This site is an extension of a groups intreats. Many people grow up and "grow out" of there first dreams. I wanted to be an astronaut and walk on the moon I remember my brother wanting to work with big construction trucks being a lover of everything dirt related he wanted to scoop the biggest buckets of earth and dump then anywhere. Then we had gotten older and after hours and hours of Mario, Contra and Duke Nukem making video games became the name of the game. Luckly our older brother could draw so we set out my brother a neighbor and I decided on a fighting game "how many characters…12…8!" you need to have girls in it my sister mentions on the by.
So we did it we work a whole summer character design sets moves the whole nine. but with all of that came nothing what was our next step. I don't know do you…nope I mean I know what to do to work in a grocery store or where to go to become a junior cop in the ROTC but there were no signs point us in the right direction. we sometimes talk about that game how it would be on it's third console by now and we might have moved on to shooters since we play them so much but hey it's never to late. Schools sometime are to focused on the practical and are just not interested in promoting the dreams the imagination i guess there isn't a budget for that along with music and art. this is were we step in and bridge the gap, share the information it's free anyway.
There are some cool people that are sharing the knowledge on things like Game Development and how to get started on that path. You can check out a great article at The Art of Manliness about this very subject.
